Voice Over
What is Voice-Over? It means giving your voice to some video/gig/act or any other presentation so that others understand it easily. It is like infusing meaning into a plain video. That is what I do: I breathe life into content by giving it a familiar voice. People tend to associate with content better if it is in their native language or in a language that they understand. My job is to act as a bridge and get the message in the content delivered, to as many people as possible.
Dubbing
Now the question arises, aren’t people bored by listening to the same voice again and again? Well, a very valid question. Here is a very simple answer. I can vary my voice accent to suit a variety of tastes, situations, demands, and well, people too. My one version of voice can be so different from another version that every time the audience gets convinced that there are two people having a conversation.
Mimicry
I can mimic voices too. I have spent a lot of time in this industry brushing up my skills as a voice-over artist. Part of my job has been to study the voice tones, the facial expressions, the emotions of individuals entangled in different situations of their lives. I closely observe people: how they speak, what are they speaking, what is the accent that they use in their day-to-day language, and then take notes.
